Position Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic Softskills trainer experienced in training employees in communication and soft skills. The clients we support have a wide range of projects and the Softskills trainer needs to adapt and align themselves to internal and client processes and facilitate the development of employees. The trainer must develop behavioural training programs that are engaging and in line with the latest trends of teaching methodology, should conduct classroom training in engaging and interesting manner, and track competencies through regular assessments, to ensure that we achieve the objective of a highly competent and skilled workforce that can meet the complex demands of the business.

 

Primary Responsibility

  1. Design and develop training modules for Softskills competencies, using various training methodologies such as classroom training, coaching, online training.
  2. Assess participants' current skill levels and training needs through assessments, survey, and feedback.
  3. Develop and conduct ongoing training programs for existing employees to enhance their current competencies.
  4. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques such as roleplays, presentations, group discussions, and practice assignments.
  5. Conduct assessments such as quizzes, assignments to measure the learning effectiveness and knowledge check.
  6. Create a training plan and training calendar for the entire organisation.
  7. Create question banks and design quiz, assessment questions and implement them in LMS.
  8. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments, participant feedback, and performance metrics.
  9. Continuously improve training materials, methodologies, and delivery techniques based on feedback and evaluation results.
  10. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and feedback to track progress and measure impact.

 

Competency / Skills

  1. Proven experience as a soft skills trainer or corporate trainer.
  2. Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  3. Relevant certifications in training and development, coaching, or soft skills are a plus.
  4. Proficiency in using training tools and technologies, including multimedia resources and e-learning platforms.
  5. Exceptional knowledge of adult learning theories and principles  
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects and deadlines effectively.
