Position Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic technical trainer experienced in training employees in MS office applications. The clients we support have a wide range of projects and the technical trainer needs to adapt and align themselves to internal and client processes if any and train the team on the same. The trainer has to develop technical training programs that are engaging and in line with the latest trends of teaching methodology, should conduct classroom training in a fun and interesting manner, and track competencies through regular assessments, to ensure that we achieve the objective of a highly competent and skilled workforce that can meet the complex demands of our customers.

Primary Responsibility

  1. Develop training materials and curriculum for MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook courses, catering to various skill levels from beginner to advanced.
  2. Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and online, covering topics such as formulas, functions, data analysis, pivot tables, macros, and advanced data visualization techniques.
  3. Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of individual clients or organizations.
  4. Stay updated on the latest features and updates in MS Excel to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
  5. Provide ongoing support and assistance to employees  answering questions and supporting on MS office tasks.
  6. Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs and delivery methods.
  7. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant feedback, and progress reports.
  8. Design and develop training modules for different levels of competencies, utilising various training methodologies such as classroom training, coaching, online training.
  9. Conduct assessments such as tests or quizzes, scenarios etc. to measure the learning and on the job transfer of learning.

Competency / Skills

  1. Expert level proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, PowerBI) Certifications would be preferable.
  2. Proven experience as an MS Office Trainer or similar role, with a strong understanding of MS Excel, MS Word & MS PPT functionalities and best practices.
  3. Ability to customize training content and delivery to ensure impact of increased competency and performance
  4. Proficiency in creating and delivering training materials using various formats, including presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
  5. Innovative in updating training content and methodologies to keep up with the best
  6. Always demonstrate professionalism in appearance and behaviour
  7. Able to work in flexible shifts to accommodate training requests for different shifts
  8. Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and travel requirements
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
