Position Purpose

Responsible to increase the conversion of all new business enquiries/opportunities and to scale-up revenues. Should have experience in global sales and with proven track record in sales and marketing in the IT/ ITES industry. A hands-on person with the ability to lead and train team members. Need to “walk the talk” and demonstrate by doing where necessary. To excel in this role you should be dynamic, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business with innovative solutions.

Primary Responsibility
  1. Formulate sales strategies and implement them effectively to achieve targeted results
  2. Ensure all new enquiries and opportunities are analysed, scoped and timely communicated with prospective customers
  3. Drive the conversion of enquires and opportunities
  4. Generate higher revenues by cross selling new services
  5. Conduct email and telephone campaigns to educate prospective customers on company services
  6. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with prospective customers
  7. Prepare proposals, business case and negotiate contracts
  8. Conduct best practices and training sessions to improve team competencies
  9. Provide insightful analysis and reports to optimise revenues and drive efficiency
  10. Work closely with senior management, peers, solution providers, delivery supervisors and provide best solution to prospective customers
Competency / Skills
  1. Experience working virtually and with offshore or captive teams and projects
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication
  3. Strong proposal writing skills and ability to make simple, crisp and insightful presentations
  4. Proven experience in budget and forecast management
  5. Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a consultative approach and the ability to present solutions as per client needs
  7. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  8. Experience using Salesforce, and knowledge of ISO 27001:1013 and GDPR clauses would be an added advantage
